Please note – to be eligible to apply for any round, you must be in attendance at university by the application deadline date.
How to apply
Our first application round each year is the March round. To apply, you must already be at university. The application process for the March round opens on 1 January.
Our second application round is the October round. You can apply to this from 1 August, if you are starting university in the September/October of the same year. You can also apply for this round if you already at university.

Closing dates
The deadline for the March round is 1 March at 5pm.
The deadline for the November round is 15 October at 5pm.
Decisions
We aim to make decisions on applications within four to six weeks after each closing date. Decisions on applications are taken by the Trustees of the Leverhulme Trade Charities Trust. All decisions are final.
Successful applicants will receive payments for their remaining time at university. We do not backdate payments for any time at university prior to your application.
